About Us

Who are we

The  African Association of Automotive Manufacturers (AAAM) is the only African body dedicated to expanding and deepening the automotive industry across the continent. We work with governments to shape policy, attract investment, and unlock Africa’s vast economic potential. Through collaboration with a global network of stakeholders, we champion the development of a thriving,      regionally integrated automotive industry in Africa.

AAAM was established in November 2015 by leading global automotive companies and OEMs. It exists to unlock Africa’s automotive potential by enabling an integrated, pan-African approach to industry development.
